Keratosis Pilaris (KP) is a follicular (hair follicle) skin condition of rough bumps that look like goose bumps or chicken skin. It often appears on the back and outer side of the upper arms and thighs. A benign condition, it’s most common in adolescent females. While KP may be cosmetically troubling, it usually wanes or disappears entirely with age.
